We have a 6ETXDR motherboard with two PIII 1200 MHz/256/133 CPUs installed, the motherboard is currently hanging when two CPUs are installed into the board. Only one CPU works functionally. (1200Mhz/256/133 cpu is being used) How to reslove this problem?
According to the specification of Intel processor, not every CPU is allowed to support dual processors.
For example, the L2 cache of Pentium III Tualatin CPU has to be 512KB in order to support dual processors. Please refer to Intel website for detail information.
